Malcolm has been in the building industry for over 42years and has worked as a general manger and construction manger for the giants of the housing industry including GJ Gardiner Homes, Devine Homes and Villa World. He has brought with him, his trusted side kick and “pied-piper” George Blayden.

“George and I have worked together for many years and I call him the pied-piper because he has this uncanny ability of drawing tradespeople to projects and maintaining relationships in this incredibly busy building climate,” Malcolm said. “We have more than 75 years of experience between us and while other companies struggle to find tradesmen and get the job done on time, thanks to George we can guarantee our delivery and the quality of our projects.”

Foreman Builders have two collections of homes– The Hideaway Collection and The Habitat Collection. Each collection has six designs to choose from and prices start from $234,000 for a 180sqm three-bedroom, two-bathroom home inclusive of landscaping, fencing, driveway and rainwater tank.

Foreman homes are designed to be responsive to the climate and offer a truly sustainable living alternative. “By using good design, we have made our houses sustainable for the environment and your budget,” Foreman development director Brent Berrick said. “We use composite materials and careful design to construct climate responsive homes that are stunningly affordable, more comfortable and less expensive to heat and cool. “It’s not all bells and whistles but simple things – for example 600mm eaves, proper ventilation and using louvres where possible all add up to reduce your energy bill and provide a more comfortable home.”

Foreman Builders also avoid expensive and environmentally damaging site cutting and filling where possible – instead using composite materials and innovative design to touch lightly on sloping sites. The formula is already proving successful at Foreman estates with the 40 lot Hideaway all but sold out.
